Those mapmakers must get kinda loopy after a while. I've found a couple little things that are just weird.

1. in the New Hampshire atlas (mine is 13th edition), page 23, coord. E-10, just under East Hampstead is a little cartoon of a hamster (actually looks like a guinea pig).

2. Colorado atlas (6th ed.) pg. 38, D-4, by the intersection of Clear Creek, Park, and Summit County lines there is a little cartoon of a skier enjoying some fine powder.

Got any more?

In my Atlas, Rand McNally I think, East Rindge, New Hampshire has been renamed, "East Ringo!"

Map and CAD peopel cane be "weird". One of our Drafters at work likes to put his intial on dumptruck license plates and other various places.
