The only useless thing in this thread is the propane grill, charcol all the way! Otherwise, mmmmm........ goooood.

Yeah I'm a huge charcoal fan too. I got one of those chimney starters this winter and no longer need fluid, 15 min and you have a good fire.

The marbeling on the rib looks great. I'm so hungry now!

The marbeling on the rib looks great. I'm so hungry now!

i love charcoal but beacuse of my shcedual i need to be able to fire the grill and be cooking in a few min because by the time i get home im starved but if you have the time charcoal is the way to go.

I use a big gas fired Weber grille and I have a smoker that can double up as a coal grill. I usually put 5-6 briquets on the gas grille (wedged between the flavor bars) and get the best of both worlds.

ya know i was thinking about doing the same thing. i just bought a new grill for th lake house last year so i think this year i have to get on for home.

You can soak chips and make foil packets and smoke on any grill. Someday I will have a nice weber grill.
