Thanks for the link.

Back then, I bought Rossi Bandit-X hoping to make it down OL like her.

nice read. Interesting take on Outer Limits. All we ever hear on so many forums is how that is such an overrated trail yet here is, arguably, the greatest female mogul skier of all time saying its the toughest bump run out there. Who ya gonna believe?

Its overrated when its mowed flat (like it usually is nowadays) When its bumped up old school, its underrated.

I took that to mean that compared to the runs used in competetion, OL was more challenging. No way OL competes with Thunder, highline, the outhouse, or Jonney Mosleys run. Plus, shes talking long ago in a galaxy far far away where moguls ruled the land known as Killington. Anyone remember when Eastgladel was a bump run? side to side - top to bottom wildfire, ssttb bearclaw, ssttb dreammaker, skyelark? just seemed like K let the bumps grow everywhere back then.

you're right i'm sure. It was just the first thought that popped into my head.

K was the king for bumps no doubt. I remember all those runs as bumpers as well as cascade which has been groomed out every time i've been there in the last 5 years. i think they still keep downdraft bumped. I've read alot of complaints about the loss of wildfire as a bump run. The top still gets some decent bumps but nothing after it goes under the skye peak quad. In the spring it was always fun to beat yourself to a pulp on o.l. and then go ski wildfire in the later afternoon. Felt like a superhero on that trail after 5 hours of outer limits.
