El Nino Means Warmer Winter for NE?

This is nuts. The Farmer's Almanac predicts a really cold, snowy winter and the trees have been changing color for weeks already, but the NOAA says there's an El Nino in the Pacific and we're gonna have another warm winter. Unfortunately, these guys have a shitload of science working for them, so I suppose we ought to listen up. This sucks - !!! :cry:

Remember, though, that the last time there was a Fall El Nino was 1968, adn that winter set all kinds of records. As previously discussed.
