List the first 10 songs to play on shuffle on Itunes, your MP3, pandora, or whatever else you use to listen to music. It's always fun to see what people have verses what they actually listen to most of the time...

RJD2- Holy Toledo
Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb
Dr. Dre- Bang Bang
Immortal Technique- The 4th Branch
Stevie Ray Vaughan- Testify
Gwynbleidd- Nostalgia

Huh, remove the Cab (although he WAS great) and replace Phil Collins with Real Genesis (Peter Gabriel era) and replace Van Hagar with Van Halen and it could've been my next ten.

In all fairness, of the three CDs in the Genesis greatest hits collection I got (against usual policies) the one that gets the most play is the one where Collins is on drums.

And I honestly like Van Hagar better. More musical to me than the more AC/DCish Roth era.

Methinks Media Player weights play rates, based on the number of singles in my list. 95%+ of my collection is original studio albums.

no ipod, mp3, pandora, etc. I even still use a single disc CD. I had a 400 disc changer at one point and spent a fair amount of time loading it and programming different genres, but I found I always ended up just using the single disc play function.

Me and this thread = Fail

Here's why I don't use the shuffle feature on my iPod when it's stuffed with 80 gigabyte of random stuff:
Mozart - Divertimento in B Flat, K 287
Dobie Gray - Out on the Floor (
U2 - Hallelujah Here She Comes
Bob Marley - Jammin'
Ennio Morricone - Il Tramonto (off the soundtrack for the three Clint Eastwood / Sergio Leone westerns)
The JB's - You Can Have Your Watergate (James Brown)
Elvis Costello - I Hope You're Happy Now
Mozart - Violin Sonata No 20 in C K 303
Pete Townsend - Let My Love Open The Door
Mozart - Piano Quartet in G minor K478

My 3G iPod shuflle would work better since I have to be more selective about what I push down to it.

I do this a lot of the time I listen to music but I still have everything backed up on a home computer. I like putting a CD into a single disc player a lot more than listening to music on a computer because it makes you listen to whole albums instead of skipping around. And IMO any worthwhile music should be listened to as a whole album not a single song. This is why listening to music on shuffle, pandora, or the radio sucks.

I agree! :D Then again, maybe it's because my mom was obsessed with David Lee Roth. :puke:

I need to add more songs to my MP3 player... but this is what I have from my meager collection on there right now:

4. Gin Blossoms, "Til I Hear It from You"
5. Stone Temple Pilots, "Lounge Fly"

7. Stone Temple Pilots, "Lady Picture Show"
8. Meices, "Ready, Steady, Go"
9. Twisted Sister, "We're Not Gonna Take It"
10. Green Day, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
