Continuing with the same dimensions for 2007/8, the Watea 101 is lighter and stiffer than last year due to a new I-beam carbon-reinforced wood core construction, so it's still an expert level powder ski, but with more snap to satisfy the biggest guys on the mountain. Dual-titanal layers keep the Watea 101 locked down at warp speed on groomers, but the fatty waist underfoot begs to be fed huge doses of pow. Fischer includes a tail slot for the out-of-bounders wanting easy skin attachment without taking a knife to their boards.
