The Draft Jacket has multiple design features that make it a standout shell besides its fabric. For one, the side pockets are higher than traditional jackets to provide clearance from hydration-pack waist belts. This eliminates interference with seams, zip closures, and the pocket's contents. Likewise, the Draft uses raglan style sleeves.
This places seams fore and aft of the shoulder to prevent pressure where backpack straps fall. The sleeves are longer and articulated for coverage in the cycling position, and a drop-tail hem also contributes to complete coverage. A full-length front zip provides easy donning, and temperature regulation when riding.
