FOX Racing Shox 34 Float 27.5 160 FIT CTD w/ Trail Adjust Fork

BK.jpg

Combining the speed of 29-inch wheels with the maneuverability of 26, 27.5in might be the ultimate wheel size. You should complement your new fast, maneuverable ride with the ultimate front end, the Fox 34 Float 27.5 160 FIT CTD w/ Trail Adjust. With three settings, Climb, Trail, and Descend, the 160 FIT CTD is ready for any type of riding and can be switched on the fly. On top of that, this fork has trail adjust, which allows you to change the firmness of the Trail, or medium setting.

Equipped with the FIT RC2 damper, a cartridge unit that uses an expandable bladder to seal suspension oil from air, it provides consistent action during heavy-duty use. The damper has both low- and high-speed compression tuning. This means you can dial the fork to offer a bob-reducing, pedal-friendly platform with the low-speed adjustment. Or back it off for plusher, small-bump compliant ride. The high-speed adjustment lets you find your preference for large hit resistance. This versatility lets you set the Float for optimum trail manners, whether you've got a monster climb or want to blaze the descent.
Not only does the air spring reduce weight, it also has a unique curve. It's tuned to provide a plush ride at the top of the stroke with a progressive ramp-up to avoid bottoming at the end. The air spring is also simple to reduce travel internally, by adding spacers under the air piston, if you'd like to customize your front end's ride height or headtube angle.
The Fox 34 Float 27.5 160 FIT RC2 Fork's lower legs and crown are powder coated in black. It has a 1-1/8 to 1.5in tapered steerer tube and post mount disc brakes. The stiff 34mm chassis is stiff and strong, and made even better by the inclusion of a 15QR thru-axle system.
