Met up with Bvibert around 5:15 on E. Chippens and we promptly geared up and put the wheels to the dirt around 5:25 this evening. Neither of us really had a pre-planned route to ride so we just winged it!

We ended up with the following loop:

E. Chippens>4 way>Brians Trail>B Street>Reservoir Road>Fire Road Bypass>FKC>Cornwall Downhill>Hinmam>Johnnycake Climb>Orchard Downhill>Sandy Pelican>Scoville Twisties>Bushwack>WC Bypass> E. Chippens and back to the cars.

The loop came in at 7.74 miles with 1265 feet of climbing and we managed to roll it in under 2 hours. Nicely done Bvibert!

Anyway, the best part of tonights ride was that the tail end of the ride was my first MTB ride after dark with lights! OMG, what an incredible experience! Not only have I found a way to keep the mileage up with my RAW's but also found out first hand tonight that the forest really does come alive after the sun sets.

Really good ride tonight Woodcore, I had a lot of fun. Those headlights you bought are impressive, brighter than either of my lights. That was probably the most technical riding that I've done with headlights, since most of my night rides are solo at White Memorial.

We turned on the lights just after crossing 69 onto Hinman. We probably didn't need them for most of Hinman, but they helped. By the time we got to the start of the JC climb the lights were needed.

Great rip, I'm glad I have someone else to ride at night with me now!
