Fuji Bicycles Tahoe 2.0 Shimano SLX/XT Complete Bike

WHI.jpg

With the Tahoe 2.0, Fuji placed an overall emphasis on creating a dependable hardtail bike at an economical price. In order to accomplish this goal, Fuji applied its proven frame geometry, durable materials, and reliable componentry to build a bike that's built for the long haul.
Like its 1.0 older brother, Fuji decided to base the Tahoe 2.0 around its proven A2-SL alloy frame. Super light alloy tubes were chosen for the hardtail design, as their known durability and comfortable ride characteristics made them the ideal choice for a stable cross-country frame construction. Fuji designed the front triangle with its oversized PowerCurve down tube, hydroformed top tube, and semi-integrated tapered head tube. At the rear triangle, the A2-SL tubes were welded to form its 'A-style' seatstays and cold-forged dropouts, with a CNC'd post disc mount and replaceable hanger rounding out the back end.
Differing from the 1.0, Fuji paired the hardtail frame platform with RockShox's reliable Recon Silver TK SoloAir fork. Going along with the dependable theme of the Tahoe design, this fork features the same bomber alloy steerer mated to a 6061 T-6 aluminum crown as the Gold. Its SoloAir spring technology soaks up the trail's rocks, roots, and bumps, to keep your confidence remaining firmly intact through its 100mm of trail-smoothing travel. The fork also features TurnKey lockout, allowing you to firm up your ride as needed.
Fuji knew that its burly frameset would require equally tough componentry, which is why it spec'd out the Tahoe 2.0 with a mix of Shimano's proven Deore group. The front derailleur is the SLX with 34.9mm clamp, and the rear is the Deore XT SGS Shadow. The crankset is Shimano's HollowTech M552 with integrated spindle and triple (24/32/42T) ring configuration, with a Deore 11-36T 10-speed cassette out back. A KMC X10 chain was selected for long-running life and smooth operation, with shifting controlled up front using Deore's crisp Rapid Fire shifters.
The brakes used for the Tahoe 2.0 are Tektro's Auriga hydraulic disc option. With hydraulics the norm in cross-country setups, Fuji decided to use the powerful hydraulic braking package provided by Tektro's Auriga series. The 180/160mm rotors provide incredible stopping power in both wet and dry riding conditions. In the wheelset department, Fuji paired its silky 32-hole mountain disc hubs with Alex DP17 rims. Hutchinson's ultra-grippy Cougar 26 x 2.2in tires wrap the sturdy hoops, providing a plenty of traction in all-weather riding conditions.
At the cockpit of the Tahoe, Oval's M200 680mm alloy riser bar and reverse bolt technology stem assure stable front-end handling, with and M200 seatpost and Fuji mountain saddle keeping you comfortably supported over the center of the frame. Fuji's dual density kraton grips and Wellgo ATB pedals round complete the Tahoe 2.0.
The Fuji Tahoe 2.0 is available in 15, 17, 19, 21, and 23in frame options, and in the color White/red.
