Whether you ski or ride rails or forgotten trails, the sixteen-vent Fuse strikes a perfect balance with optimal comfort and ASTM certified protection. An innovative molded construction fuses (get it?) two Hardbody™ shells to Giro's proven high-performance EPS liner for exceptional durability and minimal weight. Most Giro helmets feature a dozen cooling vents, but the Fuse™ is pockmarked with sixteen Super Cool™ vents tuned by an adjustable Thermostat™ vent switch on the back of the helmet. Adjust the air flow with the low-profile Thermostat™ switch or batten down the hatches with the included Weatherstrip™ vent plugs. You can also remove the soft earpads for bluebird days. The wide-angle cut up front optimizes peripheral vision and won't leave you suffering from goggle gaposis in blowing blizzard conditions.
