Gunstock Opening Weekend?

Worth it? Liftopia has $15 tickets for this satuday. Their website is useless for info. What kind of terrain are they likely to have open? I'm gonna go somewhere this weekend and wanna make sure I'm not bored.

The last time that they updated their website, they showed snow being made on some lower mountain begginer terrain. I think it was the Missfire and Peepsight trails.

That was about 10 days ago or so.

I vote no.

I bought the opening day passes for Gunstock from Liftopia last year but didn't bother driving up there for the few trails they had open as they all seemed to be < intermediate. I should mention I live just over 2 hours away, had it been < an hour drive I may have considered it. Bottom line is I don't think they will have much of a push to get more trails open for opening day especially with the warm weather and rain we have been seeing.

yeah, im leaning towards no. It's almost just as far as the drive to cannon. Cannon is likely t have better terrain open, and better weather (snow) for the rest of the week. It's just a question of what their pass prices will be at this point.

I wouldn't bother. I did opening weekend last year and it was not worth the drive from the Cape. This year I live a mile away and won't go. They were making snow like crazy two weeks ago but then last Tuesday it rained and I haven't seen the guns on since. It's probably a sheet of ice, everything else around here is.

Hey, say hi to your mom for me. We played hockey together many years ago. Used to see her at tris too.
