Any good suggestions to head out for a day trip from Springfield MA/East Long Meadow?

That's my neck of the woods. Depends on what you kind of terrain you're looking for & how far you want to drive.
Berkshire East is 1 hour away & has a lot of natural, classic New England style trails & good groomers. Great place to go after some natural snow has fallen. Butternut & Jiminy are about 1 hr 15 mins & 1.5 hrs, respectively.
Sundown is also 1 hour away (in CT) & is basically a feeder hill but has a serious commitment to seeded bumps. Sundown has a lot of fans on this board as the local option & for bump lovers.
In Vermont, Mount Snow is just under 1.5 hours, Magic is about 2 hours & Killington is about 2.5 hours.
The MRV (Sugarbush & Mad River Glen) is about 3 hours + 15 mins. Stowe is about the same as the MRV maybe a few minutes more.
Okemo is about 2 hours + 15 mins. Stratton & Bromley are about the same.
