Burke has been in receivership for over 8 years now. After being defrauded by a Miami business man who embezzled millions of dollars we still send roughly $1.5 million a year to a Miami receiver. The receiver is wants to only sell the mountain through a "stalking horse bid process which is deemed unfair by potential buyers. Please sign the petition below to help put pressure on the Miami judge to get this to a conventional sale. Burke Mt.'s future, many jobs, property values and area businesses all hang in the balance.
