I recall a few years ago reading a Cannon Trail Map and seeing that one of the chairs was called, "the Hong Kong Chairlift" (where the Express Quad is now I believe). Can anyone confirm or am I nuts (possible) . Why was it named this? Why did the name get dropped? :-?

This is a good question for Cannon fan riverc0il...

that is the saddest looking trail map i every seen, it just looks so gloomy and dark. I remember riding those 2 chairs before the quad was there. The ramp off those chairs was the steepest part of that area. They probably had to get rid of them because if you snowboarded it would be so scary to get off.

wow, what the hell is that atplay web page? not only is all the information and the trail map dated by at least 5 years, but they have the wrong URL for the mountain's real web site!

the hong kong lift may be no more, but it left behind some fantastic lift lines
