So, 2008 is abbreviated oh-eight, what is 2010 going to be? I've heard oh-ten, which sounds right on one level, but feels wrong on another. In financial markts we talk about "third quarter oh eight", but "third quarter ten" sounds weird.

So, what do you want it to be? Twenty-ten, oh ten, ten, or Anno Domini two thousand and ten (plus or minus 32)?

Alright, you two- knock it off.

That's a whole other level of dorkness I wasn't expecting.

Probably should have, though.

I vote for either:
11111011010
or
7DA

-w
I like it.

My new boss has been saying Oh-ten, but I prefer Twenty-ten. I might just using 7DA around work to see if anyone else gets is since it involves less key strokes and therefore more efficient.

I'm taking the whole hex thing one step further and just calling it A, even easier to type than 7DA.

My other thought was to go the roman numeral route and say X.

Oh-ten just doesn't work for me, sounds stupid.
