Sept 27-30 - Huge ski swap for Hudson Valley at NY State Thruway Kingston Exit 19 mile marker 91. (91 miles north of NYC and about 45 miles south of Albany). Good time to trade up. Sometimes you can find some awesome deals here.

Just wanted to add that this swap is a great time to purchase used equipment for your kids. All my kids learned to ski on used equipment from this Ski Swap. The trick is to buy equipment that will be good enough to sell at the swap in a few years when your kids out grow the equipment.

These days the the seasonal equipment rental for kids may be a better option. It all depends on what deals you can find.
