Good Afternoon:

I was just notified that another slide has occurred along Route 9 from Bennington, east of the previous work that was just completed. The road will be going down to one lane with a traffic light, AOT is hoping to have both lanes open by the end of January. I wanted to advise anybody traveling to Mount Snow from Bennington to seek an alternate route (for example from NYC coming up 95 to 91 instead of 87).

You can go through Brattleboro and then head north on 30 and make the left after maple valley and take that through South Newfane and East Dover. I believe the fastest way from Brattleboro to West Dover.
