Yeah, I was kinda shocked to see most of the snowpack had melted overnight. Let's hope this is it for the January thaw (did it ever really freeze?) and now we can get on with winter...skijay said:I woke up this moring to green. The snow is gone from the front of my house and about 1 inch left in the back. Ouch.

Fortunately, we seem to have seen the last of it. It's currently snowing like crazy and the last hour has seen a change from bare ground to about 3/4 inch and it's coming down really hard. It's supposed to snow until noon and then flurries into the afternoon. At this rate we could have 3# here in the valley and maybe 5# on the mountain. Combined with the prolonged cold stretch we are entering, I see some reason for optimism.

Hey, at least I won't have to shovel my driveway... which I never got around to after the last storm!
