Well worth getting up early this morning. Got up here to VT about 11:30 last night, about 12-15'' here in Montgomery from the storm and it was still dumping. Booted up in the lot at 8, 5th person or so in line for the Tram, my friends arrived right behind me. 1st Run, Green Beret to lower powerline, solid knee deep on every turn. We then stayed stateside for a few hours, Everglade, Beaver, North Woods, etc... all consistently knee deep w/ occasional thigh and face shot. I can say that today was one of the best days of skiing I have had in years. Finished the day w/ a few dip runs, unreal. Skied 8:30-1. The wetter snow they got wed/thurs mended nicely w/ the bullet proof underneath, there was about 12-15" of nice dry snow on top of that for today. I am alway critical of the pictures of the day, but today is right on. If they get the 12" they are calling for Sunday-Monday I may have to extend my weekend.

Been up here at Jay since Monday night. It started snowing Wednesday night and didn't stop until today around noon. Thursday and Friday were both powder days but today was the best. We had first chair up the Freezer and headed down JFK. Was getting face shots all the way down which is incredible for a groomer. Then headed into Everglade to find consistent knee deep powder. Definitely one of the best days of the year.

We skied there Friday. Did Big Jay for my first time late in the day. Unbelievable how much more snow loads up there. It was thigh deep with face shots all the way down. Didn't get back to the car until 5:40.

Wish we could have stayed..it was snowing like crazy when we left. I hate leaving the mountains when it's snowing.

Great weekends on the slopes (and in the woods!)

We rode all day on Saturday getting consistent knee deep to mid-thighs snow. Sunday we decided to head out for 2 laps on Big Jay. While the access from the ridge is getting crowded, the snow is so abundant that you're still skiing way above knee deep... and waist deep if the snow is untouched!

On our second lap, we were a bit deeper. We followed a skin track that yeld to a consistant waist deep run... Wow! Blower in your face all the way down... Probably the best run i've had in years! Virgin and blower that deep is amazing! I want some more!

Pray for cold and next weekend should be just as great!
