More About NextSnow SEARCH
The Sports Illustrated For Kids NextSnow SEARCH program was created by Jack Turner, founder of Snow Monsters. The Sports Illustrated For Kids NextSnow SEARCH is a quest to find the neXtreme generation of skiers and snowboarders. It's an all-mountain, all equipment, all person snowsports competition. It’s not just a competition - style, attitude, and personality are also factors.

The event qualifier at Pats Peak was one of 75 event qualifiers being held at resorts across the United States and Canada for kids ages 9 to 13. Finalists from the event qualifiers will compete in Killington, VT on March 3-5, 2006. At the finals, Killington will host more than 150 athletes who have been selected from the qualifying events to compete in everything from park and pipe, to bumps, racing, and big mountain skiing – a three-day test of all-around skill on snow.
