Ski Racer Mancuso Places Third in Big Mountain Extreme Comp in Switzerland.

Meanwhile the real surprise of the women's skiing came via the success of Julia Mancuso, who was given a wildcard entry hot on the heals of her double Silver success in the Winter Olympics.

She charged into third with a line and fluidity that made her look like she was a freeride regular.

Olympic medalist, Julia Mancuso, competed on the Bec des Rosses in Verbier for the first time ever. She took third place with a fast and fluid line.

I think it's pretty safe to say that she did more than just ski gates while growing up skiing at Squaw Valley Just saw on her FB page that she's headed back over to Switzerland this weekend for another comp. And her 20 yr old sister recently had a top 5 finish in an extreme comp at Snowbird

While I still think LV is HOT, Mancuso going out and taking third in a big mountain event pretty much changes my mind that Mancuso is hotter.....well done. Who wants to ski with a chick who only skis groomers?

lindsey vonn In the middle of another crazy/fun day of media. I opened the NASDAQ stock exchange this morning and so far have met with GQ magazine, Teen Vogue, Self, and Glamour then took a break for lunch. Now on my way to Marie Claire, US weekly, Rolling Stone, and Men's Journal. Busy day! Then a Knicks game tonight! I'll post some pics later today. LV :roll:
