Anyone else getting the idea that the folks at Powdr are wishing that a GIGANTIC sinkhole would form in the middle of the Killington Road thus preventing folks from taking such great pics of all that snow that is sitting under those idle lifts ;)

Oh man those bumps look tasty.

Is that nice slushy snow? or is hard stuff involved, as suggested on K zone?

At least in the in the K-1 basin, it's thoroughly frozen, except maybe for some stuff that's been sitting in direct sunlight all day. OL might not be quite so firm given the elevation difference.

(I'd guess that if I had been up there this evening, I'd report that Skyelark was pretty rugged for most of the way down by 5:30 p.m., with refrozen raincups and whatnot. A few spots on far skier's right that got a lot of sun and broke away for nice corny turns and the last 150 yards or so, which went from quite skiable to damn nice on the flat runout towards the lift, were the exceptions. Oh, and another 2-3 days of warm temps will definitely make it non-contiguous; if it had been tilled every night since closing, it would probably be toast already.)
