السلام عليكم

I lieu of doing a TR I'm just going to post PIX... We're still collecting the PIX so if i find some more good shots I'll add them to the thread..
We had a crew of 8... Made up of mostly Hunter Ski Patrol..

Suffice to say - we rode deep snow each day... We had to work for it... Climbs topping out over 14,000' ... the mountain is serviced by gondolas... One to mid and one from mid to top...

Lodging was like being at camp... Food was great... People were all great! Lots of guns around but you get used to it...

Insanely nice place!
I will return someday - In Shalla(God willing)

A video of my buddy Jimbo driving a cab back from the valley to the ski area after a run into town..
He's driving with ski boots... wrong side of the road....etc...
Pretty funny...

dmc, thanks so much for posting. One of the best trip report I've ever read, completely eye-opening, jaw dropping. Looks like an awesome trip. Bet you that authentic cuisine was sick...

As long as you like chicken and mutton... it was great... :)

You had to think about what you were eating.. I loaded up on some spicy rice at lunch one day and hurled at 13,000'.... not pleasant...

I must have missed something. Was this just a group of your buddies and you deciding to head over there? For some reason I just assumed you were over there for work and would have the opportunity to ski.

Nope... My friend who's living in Dubai had heard about it... So we all decided to go...

I didn't work for 10 days... It was wonderful!

I think that monkey wins for most exotic animal seen while skiing. ;)

Nice pictorial! What an amazing opportunity!

People that end up skiing alone in the woods where the monkeys live are sometimes attacked... seriously...
