NYC's annual Halloween Parade, washed out by Sandy last year, was in jeopardy of fading into history, rescued by Kickstarter. This story reminded me of the time my Son and I went to NYC to visit my Sis on Memorial Day Weekend. Not only is it Fleet Week, but it's also when Wigstock, an annual drag queen parade, was going on. We were stopped at a light, my Son, probably five, or six at the time, said,"Daddy, look how tall that lady is." "Yes, yes she is Son."
