NEWRY, Maine — Youth ages 6 - 18 benefit from being young Feb. 13, when the price of a lift ticket equals their age.

The promotion is one of many efforts by Sunday River and the American Skiing Company to get people back on the slopes - often. February was chosen because it's typically considered the prime of the ski season for many who enjoy longer days of sunshine and deep base depths.

Sunday River is currently 95 percent open with 120 trails and 610 acres across eight peaks.

Youth simply need to purchase their ticket at any ticket window on Feb. 13 to take advantage of the offer. The resort is open 8 am to 4 pm.
