LAKE PLACID, New York — With the best of spring skiing and riding still to come, the New York Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) announced Tuesday that the 2005-06 Last Chance Pass, previously known as the Whiteface-Only Non-Holiday Pass, will go on sale March 19 at the current year’s price level.

The pass will remain on sale for $299 through May 6 and will be your only chance to purchase this non-holiday season pass for less than $300.

The Last Chance Pass is not valid from Dec. 24-Jan. 1, Jan. 14-16 and Feb. 18-26, 2006. The LCP allows the holder to ski and ride at a bargain price for the entire next winter season. In addition, new pass holders can use the LCP from March 28 through the end of this current winter season.

Purchase may be completed online at www.whiteface.com or by calling 518-946-2223 starting Saturday.

ORDA has also announced that later this spring, all remaining 2005-06 season passes – including Whiteface / Gore two mountain passes, the four-pack and the rest – will be sold at this year’s prices.
