Lezyne designed the CNC Chain Rod to cover all the bases from old-school chic to new-school race with 8, 9, or 10-speed compatibility. Lezyne's custom chain is attached with stainless steel bolts instead of chain pins to take the frustration out of chain replacement.
At the heart of the Lezyne CNC Chain Rod's design is an intolerance for wimpy materials. The Chain Rod's tool head is CNC-machined from heat-treated steel plate for precise fit and cyborg durability. The handle is CNC'd from aluminum for stiffness. The CNC-machined handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and provides a full 14 inches of leverage. The handle's aluminum construction also keeps the weight down so you don't feel like you're dragging a railroad tie around the shop. Finally, Lezyne uses high-strength steel fastening hardware to make the CNC Chain Rod extremely rigid and durable.
