I have some free time this weekend to do a quick overnight, the details of which are not entirely important. Basically, I'll be in the Hancock/Big Rock campground are, on trail around 12 or 1, need to eb back to Hancock of Big Rock by about 11 the next day. Possibly solo with dog, or with one other person and dog. Some vehicular mobility, and I'd like to bag a 4,000 footer.

Currently under consideration are Owl's Head by way of lincoln Wodds/Lncoln Brook; Mt bond by way of Lincoln Woods/Wilderness/ Bondcliff or Hancock by way of Cedar Brook.

Don't want to kill myself, but will push it a bit. Any thoughts on those options, or others? Rather not run into crowds, either...

Edit: Reading notes on Owl's Head- remote (good), but looooong hike(not so good).

Bonds or Owl Head are 18+ trips. while flat & not too bad, Hancocks would be my vote unless you are peakbagging, then whatever you need. Crowds on Wilderness likely to thin once you past Franconia Falls area. (An early start beats that)
