The lights have been on at the summit of Hunter Mountain for a few days..
Generally means it's time to start snowmaking...

My girlfriend lives west of Hunter... It was cool to drive back tonight and see the summit lit up like a beacon.. Made me smile
But... it's so freaking warm out.. uuuuuuuugh...

Took a hike around the lower glades yesterday... Looking good..
New Ski Race building is almost done...

Well, thats promising! Maybe they will open the weekend of the 21st. Back from Key West Friday night. Skiing the WROD on Saturday. That would work for me!

Generally yes. Belleayre is right there too most years.

Belle put some work into breaking up the snow making pipes on the mountain into zones. Should allow them to get the mountain covered faster this year. We'll see.
