Chose an area due south ~10mi of Katahdin Range....for drive-around + sm_mountaintop_barbeque. Glad I urged remainder of small party to bring their fleece...HOLY TOLEDO!, have been spoiled by air temps of late. Motha Nature bringing us in the NE back to reality...
Anyways...just a few random pics:
Brook flowing under main woods road(JoMary Rd).
A few pics of pond just off the even smaller side woods road...(off JoMary Rd).
Put-in opening to Penobscot Pond....a nice medium-small pond to paddle(when you have a canoe with you..;-)).
..And one of our afternoon moose on the road...
