Mizuno Wave Musha 5 Running Shoe - Men's
Runners can get pretty darn attached to specific shoe models, and if you're one of those that has fallen hard for the Mizuno Men's Musha 5, you'd better stock up. Runners the world over are smitten with this racing/speedwork shoe's light weight and excellent road feel. 9mm of cushioning in the form of a springy, lightweight AP+ copolymer material under the forefoot ensures that you don't feel every bump in the road, yet doesn't feel squishy and wobbly, either. The 18mm under the heel comes in handy towards the end of long races, when your nice forefoot-strike form starts to fall off a little and you need the cushioning that the compression-resistant thermoplastic elastomer delivers, along with a little extra boost from the propulsive Mizuno Wave thermoplastic plate running from the heel to the forefoot. If you do the math that comes to a 9mm heel/forefoot drop, although many swear it feels lower. A touch of stability and support comes in handy on long runs, too.
Up top, nylon mesh (in great colors) reinforced by synthetic suede offers excellent breathability and comfort, and the wicking textile lining moves excess moisture away from your feet. Below, the X10 carbon rubber outsole is durable enough for high-mileage regimens.
Price: $39.99 (55% Off!)
Regularly: $89.95
