Resort:Mount Snow
Date Skied:3/30/06, 9:30am to 3:30pm
Conditions: Sunny around 60 degrees, groomed wet snow turning to spring like wet granular.
Trip Report: Today was a perfect ski day, warm weather and plenty of sun. I parked at the Carinthia lodge and was one of about 30 cars. Riding up the Nitro Quad I could not help to notice the moguls on the lower part of the Nitro trail and a beautiful and empty half pipe. My first run was down the Mine Shaft to the Inferno terrain park and then into The Gut half pipe. Man that was fun!
I worked my way over to the main mountain where a race was going on. After a couple of runs down Canyon, Ledge and Choke, it was off to North Face. The first run down was the bump run under the Outpost Lift line. This was around 10:30 and the snow was softening up. I only did that one run down it. My favorite trail on North Face was the one without bumps to the left of the bump trail.
I ended up back to Carinthia for the moguls and the half pipe. The bumps on Nitro were softer and easier to navigate through. It was an awesome day of skiing. If today is my last day of the season, I ended it with a perfect ski day.

Trail to left of Outpost Lift. Not bumped.
Plenty of snow at North Face.
