NEWBURY, NH — Mount Sunapee is holding its 7th Annual "Cares and Shares" food drive on Sunday, December 5th to benefit needy families and food shelters during the holiday season.
"Every year we have an amazing outpouring of support from our skiers and riders to benefit those in need through our Cares and Shares program," said Dyke Shaw, Mount Sunapee director of marketing and sales. "Last year the donations filled eight truckloads that we happily delivered to food banks in our neighboring towns. We hope to match or exceed that total this year."
With a donation of five non-perishable food items, skiers and riders will receive a discounted full day pass for only $25. Mount Sunapee Ambassadors and resort personnel will be on hand to assist you with your canned items and direct you to our ticket windows for your discounted lift pass. Mount Sunapee will host another "Cares and Shares" day near the end of the season on Sunday, April 3, 2005.
Mount Sunapee continues to offer 100% Satisfaction on its skiing and riding product, expanding upon numerous value-added programs and specials to enhance families’ skiing and riding pleasure. For a full line up of special events, current trail conditions and all resort information, please call (603) 763-2356 or go to www.mountsunapee.com.
