Difficulty:
Easy
Conditions:
a little humid, sunny to hazy sun, mod. temps.
Special Required Equipment:
None
Trip Report:
I hit the Hale Brook Trail at 1:40pm. on my second hike of the day. After another easy ascent, I reached the summit at 3:10. Then headed down to the parking area arriving at 4:00. Not alot of time spent checking out the scenery, I was on a mission and it wasn't over yet.
The upper portion of the trail, from about the second brook crossing up was a little rocky, but not too bad. This is one of the easist mountains I've hiked, only Tecumseh could rival it for the easiest 4000 footer.
