ncaa's at Stowe

Starting today the NCAA National Championships will be at Stowe, starting today. Will the winner be a western school like CU or Utah, will it be Vermont. Who's imported "Yumpin Yimenee Sven" cross country team will reign supreme? It should be exciting and it's free. I will be there with my camera tomorrow. Go UVM!

I think you mis-spoke...it would be go Midd for my Alma Mater! But heck, being a native Vermonter, if groovy-UV takes it, all the better. :beer:

I can recall when we hosted the 2000-2001 NCAA nationals at the Snowbowl...very exciting but I'm one for skiing and not watching skiing. :wink:

Any Vermont school would be great but my wife is a UVM grad...I went to U. of Wyoming..in search of pow-pow.

In the 80,s WYO had an elite top team, then in 1989, one year after taking the national championship they dropped the sport...needed the money to expand the football stadium. so I now default to the Cats.
