RIM isn't going away. It is still by far the best corporate email solution. IT departments care about ease of managing devices and security, not that the morons who have the phones don't like the web browser. The fact that users don't download all kinds of applications and brick the phone makes it all the more attractive to IT.

Everybody recently ganged up on Google and bought out the Nortel patents. I'd look for some serious IPR issues with Android.

I'm feeling optimistic about the Windows OS. It wouldn't hurt for them to unveil a killer marketing campaign. My memory tells me Microsoft sucks at marketing.

There's also talk of HP releasing WebOs to other manufacturers. I hope this happens but as the months roll by HP is starting to look more and more incompetent. The market isn't embracing the Veer and the Touchpad. The Pre3 was supposed to be released this summer and we still haven't heard a release date or even a carrier.
