my Boeri is about 8yrs old, no vents and my noggin sweats like crazy. Its a very comfy/warm helmet, never been in a crash...thinking it might be time to upgrade...love the Giro (thats what i have for road and mtn biking)

Any suggestions??? thanks.....

I know with bike helmets they recommend getting a new helmet every few years as the sweat breaks down the foam...same true with ski brain buckets?

Nothing like the Giro Fusion. Bit on the expensive side, but I wouldn't bother with another.

My wife as the Fusion and she loves the fit and warmth. We got a great deal on it because it was cranberry and not red like she wanted. I was going to get the Fusion as well but they didn't have it in my size. I went with the Giro 9 and love it.

I have it and my wife has it, we both love the ventilation system. Got my second one at the end of last season, first one cracked in an accident. Fortunetly it was at the end of the season, so I save something like $45 on it.

You ski with an ipod? Giro's tuneups for their nine works awsome.

I've been eying the tuneups. If I get the wife knocked up as planned I will be spending a ton of time on the lift by myself. I'm thinking tunes on the ride up and the sound of my skis turning on the way down.

no tunes for me on the slopes....tried it, dont like it..i like to 'hear' my skis (and the idiots around me) for me, being in the mountains, hearing my skis on the snow/ice and the other sounds, or just stopping in the trees and hearing nothing at all....this is why i go to the mountains in the first place, i can listen to the tunes at home and in the car, on the slope i like to disconnect and get away from it all........for me, skiing and listening to music just dont mix....thats why i might be looking at the 9 or 10 or fuse freestyle......

I like the sounds of skiing, don't get me wrong. I just like to throw on a Dead Show every once in a while and let it rip. I usually split 50/50 when I ski alone. Never on if I'm skiing with friends.
