Just a quick note to let everyone know that conditions in Northern Vermont are spectacular, and look to stay that way for a while, regardless of what you see in Southern New England.
I just came back last night from Stowe & Bolton Valley (trip report later today, I hope) last night. They have a winter storm watch in effect for Mon-Tues and expect another 6" snow. It's all light, fluffy stuff up there. It was snowing from noon until we left at day's end Sunday, temps in the hi 20's on the mountain, nearing 32 in the valley, but no sign of the wet stuff. Pretty much all trails and terrain was open. The off-piste glades were just awesome even for my teens and 8-year old, we had a blast. Roads are entirely navigable most everywhere. Hated to go.
Get out NOW: conditions are super!
