That could be done easily enough. My parents have a timeshare in Kissimmee and once they're older, I could easily say we're going down to hang with Nana and Papa, plus my grandparents go down to FL for the winter. :D

Bought into the Disney Vacation Club timeshare about 9 years ago...the spouse is into Disney like I'm into skiing.

As a result, we usually end up going about every other year. Other years we try to do exchanges to go to other areas of the country, which isn't as easy as advertised but is still doable. Still working on convincing the family that a skiing vacation would be worthwhile...

Like many ski areas, I think Disney World's a fun place to go to when it's not too crowded...problem is that we usually go in April, which is about the best time weather-wise but almost the worst time for crowds. I've gone into Magic Kingdom early and seen the wave of humanity go down Main Street when they first open up to the public...absolutely nuts.

I need to get to Tower of Terror again next time I'm there, missed it the last few times. I like the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster better than Space Mountain...the catapult launch at the beginning is intense...

rock and roller coaster was an eye opener for sure. couldnt believe the takeoff. holy crap. My wallet fell out somewhere along the ride but it amazingly stayed in the car. pretty lucky on that one. tower of terror was nice too. test track at epcot is awesome once they open the thing up outside. the banked turns are crazy. my 5 year old was LOVING that one.

the obesity in this country is freakin disgusting though. I saw some of the largest people in my life this week. and their kids too. i feel horrible for them. a six year old girl on the bus, smart as a whip, was counting to 100 in multiples of 5 while slurping a supersized coke at 8:00 in the morning. she had to have been pushing 120 lbs. i wanted to punch the parents in the face.....

HAHA...My dad lives in FL and I always tell him that FL has the most fattys per capita.

The greater Orlando area makes the Walmart in Rutland look like a Weight Watchers clinic.

I thought that was Houston? They're prob neck (roll) in neck (roll). A friend of mine is a gastric surgeon and does a lot of those gastric bypass surgeries. He was offered $750,000 to work in Houston. He said no f-in way and took a small fraction of that to work in Denver.

we went in Oct...my 3yr old was just 40" tall and could get onto most of the cool rides...her favorite ride by far was thunder mountain...freakin awesome to listen to her squeal and laugh the whole time! She's asked almost every day since we've returned when she can go back.
I had the same thoughts on the obesity...seemed like half of the people there were grossly overweight... The Disney meal plan won't help them shed any lbs either...it was tough to find even somewhat healthy options at many of the lunch places...and its a TON of food.
