LUDLOW, Vermont -- Searching for that lost shaker of salt or finding that cheeseburger in paradise is going to get a lot easier when Okemo Mountain Resort hosts their second annual end-of-summer Parrotthead Party on Saturday, October 11. Following a performance by J-san and the Analogue Sons, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, Changes in Latitudes, will perform, rain or shine, at Okemo's Jackson Gore Inn. There will be booze in the blender to render some frozen concoctions. Beer and wine, as well as soft drinks, will also be available to wash down some lip-smacking barbecue prepared by Jackson Gore's Coleman Brook Tavern. Admission to the Parrothead Party is free but donations will be accepted to benefit the Ross Powers Foundation, a charity to assist young snowsports athletes with financial need. The foundation was established by snowboard legend Ross Powers, Okemo Mountain Resort's Snowboard Ambassador.

J-san and the Analogue Sons consider themselves a life force of integrity and earthy soul. The band is an intense blend of reggae, rock, afro-beat and roots, topped with a touch of trance-like dub.

Changes In Latitudes is one of America's premier Buffett tribute shows. A nine-piece band with a singular plan, Changes in Latitudes take partygoers on a journey filled with good clean fun to – where else? – Margaritaville. Every musical set is a party with beach balls, conga lines and leis galore. So, for a "Latitude Adjustment," it's time to don those grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts, and join the Parrothead Party at Okemo's Jackson Gore.

Margaritaville has a new zip code and is now located at Okemo Mountain Resort's Jackson Gore. For more information, please visit www.okemo.com or call (802) 228-1600.
