LUDLOW, Vermont — Tim and Diane Mueller, owners of Okemo Mountain Resort, are pleased to welcome Ted Reeves as the resort's new director of planning and real estate development.

Reeves comes to Okemo from Casella Waste Systems, where he was the director of permits compliance and engineering. Originally from Ohio and Connecticut, Reeves earned his Engineering Technology Degree from Boston's Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has worked as a consulting engineer and for several contractors. In his new role at Okemo, he will oversee planning and development, to include permitting, environmental permit compliance, engineering, layout and supervision of architects and contractors.

Reeves' arrival coincides with the beginning of Phase II of Okemo's Jackson Gore development. Site work has just been completed on the Adams House, a 30-unit building with slopeside trail access, and the facility's new recreational center with indoor lap pool and family aquatic features.

"I like being a part of the creative inertia that is moving this resort forward," says Reeves. "We have a good design team and contractor, and talented, dedicated people with focus."

A thirty-year resident of Vermont, Reeves currently resides in Springfield, Vt., where he has lived for the past eight years with his wife, Wendy, and their four children who range in age from 8 to 16. He is a gentleman farmer, a fly fisherman, and, as a 23-year veteran of the National Ski Patrol, an avid skier.
