Did any of you go to the Phantom Gourmet's Food Festival? It took place on Saturday September 24th on Lansdowne Street in Boston. I didn't go and I'd like to read a report or two.

It's so strange that after the Phantom Gourmet hyped this event so heavily on the TV show, now that the event has come and gone, it has virtually disappeared from their web site. Their web forum is heavily moderated. All individual posts are screened before they actually appear on the site. Is that why there's no forum activity about the event?

Another forum for food fanatics is Chowhound. Even there it seems like Phantom Gourmet & Food Festival discussions are censored. This kind of thing makes me angry. I just wanted to see some fan discussion on an event that I couldn't attend but wanted to.

I may have made a wrong assumption- I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken- I assumed a Phantom Gourmet function was one of those that you don't actually go to, you just pay your money and not go and not eat and not dress up for.... wrong?
