In general my stance on this is that if you are a contributing forum member I have no problem with a blog cross promotion or external links. Lots of members here have personal blogs where they write their reports on, and that's totally cool. If you just pop in here to link to your blog then that is a different story, but you are OK.

I do think it's nice to paraphrase or share a snippet of the report, maybe a highlight or two.

Any way - cool report nice pics. looks great!

Those are some nice pics. Sometimes it's hard to capture how steep runs actually look, but you did a good job. Looks like some fun trails and woods there.

Plattekill is one of the few places that looks steep in photos looking down the hill. I think it is because there is no run-out at the bottom. Sitting in the bar yesterday looking out the window, I couldn't help but think how impressive the view would be if they could eliminate the cross member in the framing, steel framing at that end of the building? An unobstructed view of their expert terrain would be cool.

Whole left is all steep black and blue runs. Glades everywhere not that I have ski them but they are their for sure, and more lake.effect snow then any other open Catskill mountain.:)

Thanks for the report. Looking forward to a few trips to Plattekill this season. The scenery is fantastic and the skiing is tons of fun.
