It's unfortunate this wasn't available years ago when you could have taken advantage. So, it goes with medicine. Look on the bright side. 75 years ago, they may have just chopped your leg off!!

Hopefully this procedure catches on and eliminates some folks from having to go the TKR route.

Good to know! This might be an option for me. I had about 30% of my medial menisci removed during my ACL replacement. Does not bother me while skiing. However, it does bother me when i stand up after sitting for a while.
