The impending arctic cold front will spin up a low that will travel up the coast Friday. For the whole week, this was forecasted to go out to sea, but the latest models are bringing it pretty close to the coast. With the much coler temps in place, inland locations of central/eastern MA could see some mix/snow with the precipitation. This totally depends on how close to the coast this low gets. There will be very little if any accumulation due to the warm ground, but certainly cool to see the chance for snow already in MA.
