The Bentley SUV!

bentleysuv01.jpg

Expected to be introduced in the 2015 model year, and start in the mid 100's

One a side note I actually did see a Bentley Continental with NY plates driving on Route 100 a few miles South of Mount Snow on New Years Eve  Gotta love BIG vacation weeks in ski country and the masses that they bring to the slopes!

Well, it's rumored that it will be powered with the same V-12 that's in the Bentley Continental or if the potential owner so chooses a slightly less powerful, soon to hit their line up V-12 6.0 liter TDI diesel ;) It possibly might even have a version of the 6.3 liter W-12 twin turbo engine that Audi offers as an option on the new A-8. I'm guessing that this ride might just be able to get you to the slopes a bit quicker than the Toureg ;)

Can't wait to see Top Gear review that one.

Seems a bit silly to me, really, but hey, if they can sell them at a profit, more power to them.

Oh, I'm sure it will be fast. They have to justify the price somehow. But, at least IMHO, it's an uncanny resemblance to the Touareg and Cayenne.

I'd think that you'd have to have James May or Richard Hammond do the review on this one. Even if its does have a massive V or W-12 engine in it, I can just hear Jeremy Clarkson bitching about the new Bentley and how it looks like an "estate" vehicle ;)

Seems a bit silly to me too, and it looks like a Chrysler...

Don't forget the Q7 resemblence too ;)

It's just a Bent-porschdi-wagon after all

I'd like to see Clarkson take it off road like he did with the Touraeg

have you pre-ordered yours? ;-)

Mentally?? Maybe

Actually?? Not a chance! I think that my family will be atmost sticking with the 2nd from the bottom Audi in the large platform Volkswagon/Audi/Porsche/Bentley/Lamborghini/probably a few other brands that i'm forgetting, SUV family of vehicles :)

I'm thinking a challenge with say May in a Range Rover, Clarkson in a big, full sized Mercedes SUV and Hammond in the Bentley. You could argue that May goes in the Bentley and put Hammond in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, but that's just not too great a difference between the Bentley and the Porsche on the same platform IMHO.

And of course you'd need to get an "off road Stig" for this one!
