Nobody drank Miller, but it's interesting that Gates is the only one who actually drank an American beer. No political signifigance, but a comment on the state of "American" businesses.

"The president was drinking Bud Light, Biden was drinking Buckler (a nonalcoholic beer), Gates was drinking Samuel Adams Light and Crowley was drinking Blue Moon."

Bud Light: Brewed by AB-InBev, a Belgian company now.
Buckler: Brewed by Heineken
Blue Moon: Brewed by Molson Coors, a Canadian company.
Sam Adams: Brewed by Boston Beer Company, the largest American brewer now.

Really, saying Bud is an American beer is like saying a Honda made in Tennessee is an American car.

No microbrews either....that sucks. Although Blue Moon is tasty...

I thought Gates was drinking Red Stripe? At least that was what NPR said the other day.

The Jamaica Obsserver thinks so, too, but that beer is def not Red Stripe. Looks like Sammy to me.

At the Wilco Concert I attended in Lowell earlier this month they only served Coor's, and at $7.00 a pop. That was the most expensive, shittiest beer I have ever consumed.

Give me a microbrew....

I don't think the hardcore 'Mercan Bud drinker realizes that the company is Belgian now, or can even spell "Belgian." All they know is that them fellers talk funny, and if it weren't for us, they'd all be speaking German now, since 'Merca doesn't stop- we didn't stop when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, and these colors just don't run.

I can drink ice cold schwill on a hot day.

I probably only drink about 6 beers a month, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis

that's actually not true. Typically Smuttynose Shoals Pale or Long Trail Ale

what I'd like to see more of is good beers in a can. I do most of my beer drinking when camping, tailgating at concerts or ski areas etc. I prefer a can to a bottle in those locals.

When I'm full from drinking too much good beer, I'll reach for a Bud Light Lime! It's like Beer-soda!

IMHO, Bud Lite Lime has it's place when you're in the mood for a Corona + lIme type experience but don't want the potential hazard of squirting yourself in the eye with lime juice as you try and cram the wedge of lime through the long neck! ;)

One of my favorite beer-isms: 24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case, coincidence? I think not!
