Prologo PlainTouch Bar Tape

BK.jpg

Even with all the high-tech, touchy-feely handlebar tape out there, we find ourselves going back to cork. Cork tape, like Prologo's Plain Touch Handlebar Tape doesn't become slippery in cold weather like a lot of synthetic tapes we've tried.
In addition to improved grip, cork has a more subtle shock-dampening effect than many gels. Think of cork tape like riding in an old Cadillac, the ride is smooth and muffled. Bumps feel smoother, but rebound is delayed. Compare this to the sports car-esque feel of synthetic tape where the ride is responsive, but less forgiving due to the sportier suspension. Both tapes have their advantages, and ultimately the choice between cork and synthetic tape boils down to personal preference.
Genuine cork Prologo Plain Touch Handlebar Tape has been specially dyed so that it won't fade or degrade as readily from sun exposure. It is available in five colors: Black, White, Red, Blue, Grey, and Silver.
