I'm considering Cranmore, Ragged or Shawnee Peak. How will the crowds be at Cranmore? The weather forecast doesn't look to be the greatest. The only other day that will work for us is Friday and it's supposed to rain.

What kind of skier are you?

I was at Wildcat today and it was fantastic. If there are no wind holds tomorrow, that is where I'd go in northern NH, Cannon being my second choice.

We are the kinda skier that rides snowboards;-)
I'm an old guy that just likes to cruise mostly but my kids like the terrain parks. Nothing too big, just some nice jumps and rails. We all liked the table top jumps at Ragged.

no terrain parks at Wildcat. One big driving factor in your choices for tomorrow should be wind hold. There are some recent threads on here talking about which mountains deal with wind the best. As for NH, I'm not sure who does.

Cranmore will be very quiet, and is quite wind resistant. Bretton Woods brags about being resistant to wind holds, and that place is guaranteed to have a ton of snow. I think Loon generally does well too. I'd cross Cannon and Wildcat off the list. Not sure about other places you asked about.

We ended up going to Ragged. The snow conditions were awesome, probably the best I have ridden in a couple of years. It was a little gusty but not too bad.
